About Me
I'm a 17 year old artist from southern California. I am reasonably proficient in Acrylics, Watercolors, Charcoals , as well as detailed concept sketches in pencil. I am skilled in high contrast graphic ,digital art with an emphasis on black and white digital works. I have experience designing characters in a style of layering colored, complex, shapes ,digitally. I have done work in book covers especially by converting old black and white photos in to modern bright characters that fit the author's artistic vision. I can do most styles of art as well as most subjects but I most enjoy surreal images.
Recent Book Cover Work:Using several old, very low res image's of historical figures I was able to make a unified selection of characters who feel as though they belong together. I was also able to add elements not found in photos but important to showing who these character's were as people. In the example of the houses their were few photos of the house and they were all from uninteresting angles and the removal of trees was obviously not going to happen so the solution of an artist became the most optimal solution.
